I painted this Crayon Pony Fish as part of a Wes Anderson swap on Craftster. Some mistakes were made in painting it initially, but nothing unfixable, until I decided to paint a gray background on it and essentially ruined the thing. I decided to cut it out to salvage it. I'm not sure what to do with it now..make a mobile or call it a book mark or what, but at least I can print it out and use it as a template for another one, one that won't be all mistakey. The main lesson here is that, on the next one, paint the background first and then the fish and the hairs. I should probably remember this for all of my paintings.
